New to this and would love to learn and be qualified nail technician

What would you like to prioritise first? Gel, acrylic, polygel/acrylgel? They are all good options for nail enhancements and extensions, and they have the same kind of durability if prepped and applied correctly.

You could train with a brand. Which one you choose will be up to you. For example; GelBottle, Light Elegance, Young Nails, CND, Lilly Nails, NSI etc. Some of them offer only courses in gel, some acrylic, some both (but taken at separate times). Some are Cruelty free (like gel bottle, lilly nails, light elegance), and some are not cruelty free (like CND). Some have better/bigger range of products than others. For example Light Elegance are known for their beautiful glitter gels and large variety of gels of different colours and viscosity (thickness), but as far as I know, they can produce heat spike due to the amount of photoinitiators in their gels, whereas Young Nails have colder gels that don't produced as much heat spike. So you'll have to do some research on your own to find out what you like in a brand, the training they offer, and what your gut tells you :) Good luck!

Thank you so much for your input I would like to try all of them in the end.

Perhaps then a level 2 national qualification would make a good starting point. With that you'll have a good head start on any direction you choose and possibly save money in the long term if you plan to try out a lot of brands.
