Which developer should I use with Wella T14 toner?

Hi, I'm new so excuse any formatting issues
I bleached my naturally dark brown hair at home and it turned orange/copper in places, as expected. I know the recommended developer for Wella T14 toner is a 20 volume developer, however, I'm concerned it might lift my hair even more, which I definitely do not want. So should I use 20 volume or will 10 volume work just as well?
