I'd like to use Affinage 9.117, but as a semi rather than a permanent. Which developer can I use? If I were to use the colour on its own, would this work as a semi, or would I need some kind of developer to make it 'stick' for more than one wash? I'm trying to avoid any ammonia at all costs, as this has lifted the hair too much when exposed to sunshine etc. I've done a tester with the Affinage 9.117 on grey/brown hair, and loved the results, just don't want it lifting or disappearing down the plughole too quickly.

1/2 10 + 1/2 H20= 5 you can + a shot of conditioner for consistency thickening.

Correct.

Do not start making special mixes when the correct formula is already bottled, your insurance won't be valid.

The only developer advised to use with .117 is deposit only so its not going to lift. You cant use converter with this product i dont think. As a toner it works very well for a silver look and doesnt wash out quickly at all.

Judging on the terminology used, I'd say no!
