I'm thinking about swapping from using easi meche to foil...I read a thread on here where many of you said they preferred it and it got closer to the root.

Can anyone recommend a particular brand? Is any one better than another?

Thanks for looking :)

I realy like streaker foil, I find its realy good becuse some cheap brands are realy flimsy. hope this helps xx

Thank you sarahpoppy, will give it a go :)

For me it's Wella foils, not flimsy like the cheap ones, and they're quite wide so you can take wider sections so therefore need to put in less foils x

I prefer my visicolour/easy meche any day to foils. Purly because i see the change, and it take a good technique to adhere to the hair. I think foils were great back in the day but now their ol school! Its all about the wraps!!! xoxo

Hi all,

Most foils are manufactured by the main UK manufacturer Procare who can be found at www.hairfoil.com
They also do dispensing systems I have recently bought a 24*7 its amazing dispenses and cut and fold foils for you.

I managed to get the 24*7 for only 199 and they are so good!

I use procares Hairfoil as well, luv it. I've got a great dispenser just put the roll in snap the lid down it's cut and folded, £20 that one was. Only use 50m length not 100m as that's too fat.

Yes foil does get closer to the head that's right, however try to use blue bleach as this doesn't tend to swell like the White stuff just until you get used to it. I have a family run salon and I always start the new staff on foil and blue for specific clients. You be fine my darling.
