I recently changed acrylic products and i’ve found that a lot of them aren’t lasting long for my clients. I cannot remember for the life of me what i used to use which is why i changed product! But i was wondering what people find is the best acrylic products to use? I’ve seen the acrylux, but i don’t want to pay £65 for something that isn’t going to be the best.

Is it just one client, or many of them?

If the L&P isn’t lasting, then maybe it’s the prep and application which need perfecting first? The cost of the product really doesn’t become such an important issue until that point.

Once you have that mastered, then there are many liquid and powder systems available from most of the major brands.

It’s only since i’ve changed my product that it hasn’t been lasting, and its not just one person its a lot of people! My sets used to last my clients 4 weeks before they’d either rip them off themselves or i’d remove them for them.

Which system are you using at the moment then, and why did you change if all was ok beforehand?

I’m using the Aston and Finchers one at the moment& i changed it because i couldn’t find it again.

There are so many to choose from and personally speaking, I’d go for a well known system which has been tried and tested by lots of the nail techs using this website.

The Nail forum is worth looking through for recommendations, although those such as CND, NSI, CJP, Young Nails, Cuccio and EzFlow are very popular.

Also, bare in mind every system is different, and most of them have different liquid to powder ratios and application techniques, so it normally takes a white and a lot of research and playing with the products to be confident when you've switched system.
