Which peroxide?

I am doing a full head bleach highlights to then tone with 7/73 for a client who has been box dying her hair for quite some time currently around base 4. I would normally use 20vol although will this be sufficient? I don’t need to lift a huge amount as target shade is 7 but looking for some advice thanks!

Have you done a strand test? I’d use a colour reducer if it’s had several re-applications of box colour as it’s likely to be heavily saturated.

Are you asking which peroxide for the lighter or which peroxide to mix with your 7/73?

I would do some strand tests first and see how it lifts, but don't use any thing higher than 6% as this will damage the hair to much and prevent the toner from lasting in the hair x

i have since done a strand test I am mobile and she wasn’t getting back to me about arranging a test, and yes I used 20vol and lifted and hair is still in reasonable condition. Thanks for your reply’s! Bloody box dyes!! ‍
