White cloudy marks on top of polish

hi everyone.

Any ideas why this happens?

A couple of client end up with white cloudy marks on top of their polish after it has set. Doesnt happen on everyone or every nail just really random!

Been trying to figure it out, usually by the sounds of it it happens after showering or bathing.

Anyone else had this before.

Hi yes just normal polish. It comes off if you rub oil in it but then comes back later. Any ideas would be great.

I have rare moments when there will be a cloudy-ish area, towards the tip of the nail after applying my top coat. I put it down to perhaps applying too thick towards the tip when I cap the free-edge. But if I apply evenly and thinly particularly towards the free-edge, I have no problem. x
