White marks on natural nails?

Hi, I use OPI base and top coat and non acetone polish remover on natural nails, but have noticed that a lot of my clients nails end up with white marks on them! One lady says that she alway has worn polish for years and will take off and reapply straight away and never had this problem before, so is it the base/ top coat or the fact that it last so long (2 weeks) ? Help!

Its either dehydration from the remover and will disappear with a generous application of cuticle oil or damage from over zealous removal, or a bit of both.
