Although EN is suitable for some people I had a look and totally agree it is over priced when you can buy your own nail art materials and experiment and use your imagination .

i just watched the demo, i think to someone experienced its quite basic, but to someone just starting to `play`with nail art it would be good. depends what category your in if you buy it or not.

Carl may speak his mind (and have his own way of saying things..of course) but I agree...tbh you could do a short course in nail art and have the "hands on" experience?
Just begin with the basics and let your imagination go from there x
I don't think learning from a dvd is the easy way...there's no-one to tell you that you are doing things wrong or how to put things right. jmho of course.

I don't have much imagination!

I do aggree about looking on the internet for ideas and just practing yourself rather than paying over £200 to learn 20 designs. I don't suppose clients are bothered whether techs have a 'qualification' in nail art as long as they produce fab designs that look professional. So at the end of the day all you need is inspiration and practice!

I've just completed the course and it was brilliant. I'm just waiting for my results. I must admit some of the designs were a bit OTT but they weren't ugly. People have different tastes than others.

Well done!! Hope you get a distinction, let us know how you do.

I have this course, but not started it yet but it wont take me long. I think as a basic art course its ok, but yes its very basic and some of the designs are not to my liking but its techniques you're learning.

I wanted a certificate in nail art and this was only route available for me at the moment due to personal circumstances. Money wise it does seem expensive but I did a breakdown of costs and found that if I bought like for like the products were nearly the price of the course. That is like for like using a reputable nail art supplier not summat of eBay!!

There is a review in this months Scratch, hav'nt read it yet. Too much to do, too little time, I should'nt spend so long geeking, hehe.

Thanks, I'll let you know.

Once you've mastered the basics you can make up your own designs. I watched the DVD from beginning to end and thought it was so easy, then I tried it myself and it took 2 days just to get the 1st design right. it took me a few goes to get the hang of each design but I managed to complete it within 3 weeks (2 hours a day while my baby was having a nap).
