Hi,

Can anyone give me any tips please? I love waxing, but end up struggling with whole leg wax and all sticky!!

I use cream wax and start from the top of the leg and move down, is this the best way?

Any advise or tips would be great!!

Thank you xxx

I'm quite slow when it comes to full leg, I may do my own today 😊. Buttt I cover front of bottom half of leg remove wax, cover knee and remove then do front of thigh an remove remembering to get as much of the sides of the legs as I can then turn over client once I've done both legs :) xx

I begin with applying wax to the bottom of both legs and remove it, then to the knees and remove it, then when I do the thigh, I apply to the outside and middle section then remove it before getting them to bend their knee (like for a bikini) and do the inside section.
When they turn round there is pretty much only a couple of strips up the back of the leg to do.

I think most people start from the bottom of the legs and work up but there is no reason really for doing this, everyone works out what works better for them in the long run.

If you are ending up sticky then either the wax you are using isn't really that great or, if your clothes are getting sticky, then you are working the wrong way around. When doing the tops of legs start furthest away from you and work towards yourself so that you are not leaning on a bit you have already waxed therefore getting any residue on your clothes.

Personally I start on the backs of legs, start from ankles and work up, then turn over starting from ankles again and work up then over knee with leg bent and I also do the knee end of the thigh with the knee bent for stretch. As long as the top of the thigh is stretched/supported enough, you can get the client to help, you should have no problems.

It may be worth booking a couple of hours with a local trainer to go over full leg with you my darling, it is worth it in the long run and would save you time and save your nerves! :wink2:

Oh and at the top of the thighs I use a small amount of oil before the wax as, especially on the inside thigh, the skin can be crepey or dry and the wax can stick here.:wink2:

What wax do you use? I just use warm wax and sometimes it sticks at the top as you mention but I don't think the wax I use would go on over oil.

Thank you so much for the advise!!

I think I am going to start from the ankle, I really don't know why I start from the top, this may be my problem!!

The wax I am using is salon services tea tree, I have never used this one before.

I am wanting to try Perron rigot wax, do you have to be trained in this wax?

What oil would I use please I have never tried this?

I am wanting to do some extra training with Kim lawless!!!

Just saving some money to do this :) xxx
