Working on commission

I have a question I'm working at a Shop that is mainly Booth rent but the owner was willing to do commission for me to help me build clientele. However she taking 40% of what I make but she doesn't supply any of my products I do. I feel like I should go back and renegotiate this because I feel like she should only get 30% need advice tell what you all think am I wrong for feeling this way??

If she’s going to help you build clientele, I think giving her 40% to start with is okay. Then move to the 30% after one or two months. But make sure she works for that 10%!
