XXL colour put on twice!!

Went to a consultation yesterday. Lady wants bright red. She put xxl black on 9 months ago then decided 2 months ago to put a xxl live red on and it's taken to roots and made black a slight red tinge. Has anyone colour erased xxl before and how did it come out?

Not very well, if you can get it out the new colour won't hold. I've given up on trying to get xxl out personally it's devils work!!

Depends on what you are trying to get to!? I have had the same situation with a client but we sent her dark purple so didnt really fade after and I found it quite easy to get out I only used bleach water and 10vol and it came out a orange blonde colour!! Xx

Yea have got her stand test to an orangey blonde, she wants to go red so thinking it might fade x

I have a client who I just tested her black xxl hair she's been usin it for 2 months I tested a piece by bleach bathing and then applying 5.6 it came up lovely and looks red obviously not as vibrant but your client will have to be realistic as to what she wants I've told my client that after a couple months do a other bleach bath and also to use crazy colour inbetween colours x
But defiantly test strand as one similar case last month when I tested the hair it snapped! Xx

Well if she is going red you don't need to lift it that much!! The warmer the better!! Keep as much orange as you can and the less damage you will do and the less it will fade! Xxx

Also, if she wants it really vibrant, a semi permanent crazy colour red would be much better for her poor hair for the first few applications. It would build up a base of colour without any damage so after any permanents you might apply would have a much better chance of not fading as much.
