Hiya Peeps!

Hope you are all well.

I have changed my nails AGAIN! lol. I thought I'd have a go at sculpting on myself and also have a play at using my new crushed shell.
It took a LONG time (4 hours to be precise) and the smiles were a little tricky with the shell but I got there in the end. I found it easier to mix my shell with the clear powder (as you would a glitter) then create my tips. Has anyone else found this method easier? I was struggling when I was trying to dip my beads in the shell.
Here are some pics for you to look at;

I might try and get some more pics tomorrow in natural light (that might show off the shell better)

Oh by the way this is also the 1st time I sculpted on myself! Not too easy as I have slightly ski jumpy nails!
What do you guys think?
Got any tips for me?

could do with a slightly better pic on the left but i like em ! so subtle.

did u scupt these? hat off to ya if you did !

Very pretty, might have to get some crushed shells now, I've never used them before.

Thank you! The light was against me tonight, that and my hubby doesn't know how to use the digi cam! I will try and get some better pics tomorrow.

I'm quite chuffed with the smiles too...if I do say so myself! :o

Well done Jo, you are right to be proud - a fab set of nails!

wow - fab-a-rooney

one day i will get there

they are so rockin

well done

Very pretty...the more you do your own the easier the other hand becomes. It has to be "trained" too:)

Oooerr Missus .... you are getting too clever ;)

They are lovely Jo ... your smiles are great .... well done :)

Not tried crushed shells yet, almost bought some lilac ones the other day and stopped myself .... think I might get some at the show maybe.

So what did you think of sculpting then? Its difficult on yourself but worth the extra effort don't you think?

Your nails look really nice, lovely colour of shells, what is it? x

well done, love the colour:)

The colour of the shells would be classed as white, but it is a creamy white, then it shimmers all different colours when the light catches it!
I really like the shell, its a little extra work, and I'm not quite sure how I'll re-balance, but I think its subtle yet different. Good for clients who like French but want something different.

Well Jo - another style to choose from when I have my nails done by you LOL

They look really nice and subtle.

Mmmmmmm......what shall I have done?

Love them they are really pretty

Donna
