I don't know how we are supposed to compete - whilst I know the issues with mma and what I expect these salons are using- unless cluents come to me so I can educate them I feel the unsuspecting public just continues to use them as they are quick , cheap and in their opinion good value because the stay on no matter what.

If it's any help I do express acrylics ( full nail applied with acrylic underneath ) and if I'm working quick enough I can get them done in half hour with gel colour! It's not a method everyone wants to do but my clients don't mind it has the same outcome as acrylics! Might be worth a try for the people who complain xx

I think many people know but don't actually care about the possible damage caused. I don't think those are clients you want. They're only wanting the convenience of the quick, walk in appointment and nails that last for weeks and weeks.

I used those nails on myself, can't remember which supplier I got them from. I never used them on my clients as I felt like I was cheating. Silly I know.
