hiya, youve said that it looks rather over the top but i tell you something i wish i could do something that even looks like a rose. all mine look like they are something from another planet and not a flower.

i started off with a small, dry circle then pat it out (on a form) just when its nearly set, took it off the form and "ripped" the edges abit (it was still a tad damp on the edges so that made the outer edges look abit more raggy (hope that made sense)and bent it into the shape i wanted, then just done more petals (all the same) then played till i was happy with it, added the leaves, then the lace, then the curly ribbon.
thanks for your comments guys - its appreciated - i might even try some other stuff - but will wait till i get the URGE again
 
thought it looks amazing, real talent to do that i would not have a clue where to start with those things!!! what products do you use and tools??
