Hi my name is Lyn and I have just begun a new career in Nail technology, started my course last week. This is the chalenge that I have given myself after being in the catering industry for a number of years I have decided that I was due for a change. I am 60 years ols and my classmates are all under 30 so I feel a bit left out and keep to myself as their topics of conversation are not in keeping with me. But I am determined to succeed. My question to you is where can I download a really good client consultation form. Cheers

good luck the course and just to let you know when I did my training (i am 24) all the other girls were my age or younger apart from 2 who were 35 and 47 I worked alongside them for the whole 20 weeks we got on like a house on fire. I found their conversation much more interesting than the young girls also as they were much more focused on the course.



so dont worry and go for it.

At 53 I too was in a class full of young girls. We started out as a class of approx 25 but by the end of the year we were down to 6 ! The rest just could not go the full course and dropped out. Have I found my age to be a hinerance, well no, because I found that the people with more free money to spend are usually the ladies whos families have all grown up and fled the nest and now they have more disposable assets and start to spend money on themselves to make them look good. So I think that they appreciated someone who was around their own age. It never was a barrier for me, hope its the same for you.
