acrylic powders

Hi,

I have just bought the essential nail training system to learn acrylics. I purchased it from eBay as I couldn't afford a new one and sadly don't have the support of essential nails so hope someone here can shed some light on this please.

When I use acrylic powder and liquid, it goes cloudy and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I purchased new powder but that also goes cloudy. Should all powders go cloudy? This is the case for clear powder I bought as well as the pale pink. I can't get the surface shiny unless I buff. Is there no system that goes clear without buffing? Or am I doing something wrong? The training books side no light on it.

I would really appreciate any advice. I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

If you didn't buy the kit through Essential Nails then you won't get a certificate when you've finished the course OR have your work assessed.

Are you looking at this as a future career or.......?
