Hiya,

I’m looking to switch brands, i’m currently using nsi for acrylics but i’m not hugely happy with the product.

I’m looking at a better acrylic powder, one that seems more mailable without being too wet. Many tutorials I see seem to have powders that offer more “play time” allowing it to be manipulated on the nail. Nsi seems to either be too wet or dry too quickly.

Can someone recommend me a good range? Ideally one with a sample kit and good at holding onto the nail.

Thank you in advance :)

Nsi is a very good product and often used for training.
You should be able to consistently get a good bead with it. If it’s too wet or dries too quickly then your ratio is off.

There are many posts on here discussing different systems, probably the same ones you’ve seen in the tutorials so if you use the search function you’ll easily find them. Some are easier to work with than others but you still need to master the bead ratio and application.

I Agree with Ciderella, it is often down to the ratio. You will find that everyone has got their favourite and if you change brands you will need to adjust to it as each system works slightly different. For me flirties is the best and they also offer a sample pack but you will find that each brand has got their own followers so its maybe worth trying out different ones to see which one works best for you x

I’d no idea Flirties sold nail products, I’ve only used their lash lift in the past.

Can I ask if you’re an educator for them please?

I also agree with Ciderella71...I hated the brand I trained with but someone told me to just keep going and master it and then if I still want to switch, switch! The new brand won't be as hard to master. I did try and switch to early and regretted it! I ended up buying a whole new pot of the L&P I trained with! I can't recommend CJP enough though, I LOVE them! xx
