Wella Koleston hi lift colours

Hi,
I have a client and use wella Koleston hi lift 12/89 plus 40 vol and12/0 plus 40 vol as hi lites throughout. I have been away and so she went to someone else and they have used a demi colour on her roots. She is unhappy and now would like to go back to just having the hi lites again with the original colour i used. Will the hi lift tint lift through the demi or will i have to use a powder lightener to lift then tone.

Color will not lift color hilift or not! The 1& only hi lift that I have come across that eats color is Farouks CHI Infra hilift.

It is formulated for darker hair types & or previously colored hair. Use it in foils or stand alone bagged & hood dryer for 15 low heat low air with a 5 min cool down.

Use with 30 or 40 vol. If using it on lighter finer hairtypes like in your situation I would use 20vol in foils.
