Hi basically, I am a sports massage therapist but looking into offering additional services and branching out into lashes, microblading and advanced techniques such as micropigmentation and microdermabrasion. However I am unsure as to whether to do the l4 advanced beauty therapy OR the L4 salon management ? Will one in the long run limit me in terms of what I can offer etc ? Any advice gladly received !

I would also love to do L4, I only did 3 years at college. [emoji51]

Look at the vtct website because it gives a breakdown of what each qualification consists of. Also, check with any training provider which units they cover. For example, salon management can consist of all theory based modules but there is an option to learn more advanced practical skills. It all depends on which units your chosen qualification centre offers.

You will need to do some background research as to which course will accept your qualifications.
You are thinking of doing level 4 advanced beauty therapy so does that mean you have level 3 beauty therapy already?

If you only have level 3 in massage then I don't think you can do level 4 beauty as you would need some of the level 2 and 3 beauty skills first. I'm not sure about the salon management course.
