Hi Everyone,
I have completed a gel polish course and now what to kit myself out with a brand/kit. I am leaning towards either Harmony Gelish/ CND or Jessica Geleration. Have researched all the brands and all seem fairly similar except CND don't us a primer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as don't want to invest in a product and then realise may have made the wrong choice. Oh and any advice on purchasing LED lamps as well.
Thank you every one :)

Gelish for quality and colour range. Ink london also for a cheaper alternative. I love both xx

I love Shellac and I'm about to start offering Cuccio Veneer as well. Best to use the lamp recommended for each product. [emoji4]

Sweet squared are the authorised distributors for cnd shellac x

You should only buy CND products from the authorised distributors which are Sweet Squared or Ellisons. There are other authorised distributors in Scotland I think. They will require a copy of your certificate.

I use Gelish and it's a solid and reliable brand. The base coat is amazing - I get zero lifting on myself or any clients. There are a few gaps in the shade range though, I'm especially missing opaque nudes and lighter pinks.

I've bought a few bottles of OPI Gelcolor and Pink Gellac to try on myself. So far I like both better than Gelish! OPI is super smooth, doesn't run and the colours I have are opaque in two thin coats. Pink Gellac is lovely as well - self-levels beautifully and lasts the longest out of all of them. The shade range is great too.

Im frustrated.. Because I used Orly FX On 1 client & SENSATIONAL on another client last Sunday.. Today I get a msg from client that both had chipped!

Senationail? It's not a professional brand is it?

Isn't Sensational Sold in Boots?

'Sensationail' is sold in Boots however TheNailGal refers to 'Sensational' and as their profile says they are from USA then it may be a different product?

Can't say I have heard of a professional range called Sensational though.

Although I like a number of brands, I am sold on OPI GelColors as my primary brand. I have always loved OPI's rnp and products and was thrilled when they came out with GelColors. It combines many of the qualities of other brands. The color range is outstanding - as good as Gelish and without the color fade/shift and viscosity issues; the base coat is hybrid and easy to remove; the formula is smooth and coverage in two coats; the two LED lights are fantastic; it has the matching iconic OPI colors in rnp; and OPI has amazing education and training, market penetration and marketing. Although I also use LeChat (especially the Mood Collection) and Cuccio, OPI GelColors is my favorite.

It technically isn't said Professional" but it was at the Salon I am at and I used it a few times and have had a good review about it..but this last one didn't go so well...

It's strange that the ORLY FX didn't stay on as I have the "White Tips" color on mine and my nails are still in good shape!

Shaking my head....
