hi i have a client wanting blacky blue her hair is about a coloured 5 but i bought black/blue last time and i thought some shade of blue would have came out but it just went dark i dont want to bleach hair first so is there any intensifiers i can get or something??

In Redken shades EQ and colour fusion we have blue "kickers". I'm sure they must have them in other ranges too. I seem to recall clynol having something similar.

In Wella you can add some 0/88 to the blue black, should intensify it a bit :)

thats great il pop to sallys today and have a look x

i like the 1A in Matrix Color sync, 20 mins developer time and no pre pigging and a lovely blue black result

hi does the blue come out even though your putting it on coloured hair xx

it is more of a veru subtle blue, as the color is 1A, so base 1 is a nice Blue / black failing that and for a pure blue you need something like Directions Blue, secret here with any fashion color is the tone underneath, as if you stick on too much warmth it will go green !!!!!!!!!!!!

thats great thanks blue isnt a colour im familiar with so il try these colours advised thanks alot x

Years ago, L'oreal did a great blue/black in the Luo range. It was a real dark navy blue. I don't know if they still make it?!
