Hi, I'm a newbie too, not started training yet though.
Firstly, I think you might have had more responses if you had titled your post differently, such as "advice re acrylic systems please" or something along those lines. By just saying "advise me!" you have come across as slightly rude/demanding, and there's no indication what the content is about. There is a thread somewhere about using better post titles, and why fellow geeks might not even look at a post titled "advise me!" or "help" - they are all very busy with their business and helping us newbies as well as each other, that they just don't have the time (and often energy) to open a post to find out wha it's about and then find it's not something they can help with anyway.
Secondly, what systems are you aware of? Do some research into the different systems, do a search on here and see what comes up. I have done this, and there are so many different threads and systems to read through, but it really is worth it. As a result, I plan to train with CND from the outset. I've gone on the company's websites too, to read up on each product and it's merits, as well as looking online at nail mags etc, to see what everyone is talking about.
lastly, from what I have read on here etc, all systems are different. What you might find an easy to use system might not be what I find easy to use and vice versa. I've read comments about finding L&P very easy to work with but then the person just can't get to grips with gel or vice versa. Also, you do need to research who you will be training with, find out some previous students feedback etc, and their system of certification; will it enable you to get insurance once you have qualified?
I am still in the planning stage of my potential career, as I want to know I have the best possible training, how to market myself once I am qualified, what do I do is such and such happens, and all the other legal bits such as insurances, the dreaded taxman etc etc.
I feel truly blessed to have come across this fab site with all the fab help from all the geeks (even though I haven't posted that much lol, I do read each days threads/answers and have a great laugh at some of the stories too. Skills and humour and great people, all on one site - does life get any better?)
Good luck in finding the answer to your questions, but I think only you can really decide what system will be best for you
