Hello
This is my first time writing a "Thread" so I appologise if It isn't the best.
Im a Freelance Make up artist and currently work in fashion and editorial sector. Im looking to develop my skills into permanent make-up and maybe train in beauty aesthetics. ( I understand that I cant do botox and fillers ect which is fine with me. Ill leave that to the medical teams and would always recommend people have it done by someone with a medical background) but I want to know what I am able to train in? and how do I get there?
Firstly the reason for me writing this is I need some advice on some subjects thats I don't no much about. Im finding it really hard to find information out on the internet.
The permanent make-up isn't really the problem as i'm already in this field and I can speak to lots of people with a high knowledge.I have found places to train and course's that seem good, but if any one has any info or feed back from doing courses that they could recommend that would be great!
Also if any one had any information on medical tattooing? places to train reviews ect?
So nowwwww I would like to know about beauty aesthetics??...
I understand beauty therapists can do some of these anyway in the NVQ level3 or Btec training but i would just like to check.
What Treatments can Beauty Therapists/beauty aesthetics provide after undergoing extra training of course's?
can they do any of the following?:-
derma roll
chemical peels
IPL/Laser
Mesotherapy (Non-Injectable)
Microdermabrasion
electrolysis
If there any more treatments that any one can add? That specialises in skin care or face and body electrical treatments?
Or just any information that could help me? i just wanted to check what is actually legal for people to do when they aren't medically trained
Thank you I know I am asking a lot of questions but I keep reading so many posts contradicting everything I've been told.
Thank you
