Hello fellow geeks!!

Here I am again asking yet ANOTHER question!! Really sorry if it's getting annoying, but I am so new to this nail malarky!!!

Just wondering if anyone has any little tips on how to avoid air bubbles when applying tip extensions to the natural nail?

I have heard Pink Gel bond helps and i am going to order it tomorrow, but until it arrives, - any advice?

Cheers guys!
Love you all!!!!

Make sure the tip you are using is correctly sized and shaped for the nail you are applying to..

You want enough adhesive to ensure full contact without any gaps. Hence gelbond is brilliant as it spreads nicely and fills any gaps.

Another trick is to apply a small amount of adhesive to the free edge of the natural nail and then on your tip. That way you have made sure there will be enough adhesive exactly where you want it...

Landing the tip properly and giving it even pressure will help too....

I agree with Envy that Gelbond is fab. If you're using a liquid adhesive, you could try holding you tip in a downwards position, wait till you click it into the well, then whilst holding it against the well, bring it upwards into position and this may help release the air bubbles. xx

That's exactly the method I was taught. They called it "rocking" the tip.
