So, for about a month now I've had my hair colored green and one of the things I keep hearing is that green fades very easily, Q.E.D, for best results wash sparingly. I usually wash my hair every other day or so, but lately I've been relying on dry shampoos in between washes to maintain a clean look.

However, I've been having problems with my skin of late, (itching, slight dandruff, tops of ears weeping etc.) at first I thought it was the dye so I ignored it thinking it would go away as my scalp normalized, but upon closer inspection I realized that one of the main ingredients in most dry shampoos is silica. I am allergic to silica, and I can't for the life of me find any silica free dry shampoos on the market. (starting to wonder if they even exist and if not what are my options) Please advise?...

The goldwell Dualsenses volume range is silicone free, it has a dry shampoo in that so assume it's silicone free too. But I would check.

Ah. Very helpful thank you both for getting back to me. I have to wonder though, wouldn't the alcohol strip the dye from my hair?
