Hi everyone I'm after a bit of advise, I've been having my hair dyed at hairdressers for the last 6 years no problems. I have roots done in dark, bleach streaks with a different colour on the bleach. my natural hair is totally white at front and nasty salt & pepper at back. 2 wks ago i had my hair done, when the main colour was put on the crown it started to sting for about a min i never said anything as it soon passed. A wk later i was pulling black scabs from my head. I have had a word with my hairdresser and she thinks i'm developing an allergy, can anyone please tell me what my options are, I'm too young to have grey hair. thankyou for any replies

i think the only thing you could do in future is to use vegatable based dyes, ask your hairdresser to do you a patch test too , then you can be certain x

If not just have all your hair coloured in foils? that way the colour doesn't touch the scalp. is she going to do an allergy test for your before your next colour (if you have one booked that is) ?
