I've booked myself onto the KM Training hair extension course on Tuesday & I am SO excited!! Im currently training to be a hairdresser & qualify in June. I cant wait to start my new career!!! I was a nurse for 10 years before this so its all a massive change!

For those of you that have done the 1 day extension courses, did you find they gave you enough info to let loose on clients? Or did you offer discounts at first because you were newly qualified & just practising? Im just wondering what to do for the best. Any advice?

Thanks

Kate

hi, haven't done the extensions course but would love to hear your views on km once completed as this is who i was intending to train with. Good luck.

I am a non-hairdressing extensions technician.

I trained with Lush-Us late last year and went straight on to working on clients with no issues or worries. I studied hard for the written side of the course ( several online exams ) and researched/studied for months leading up to my training and still read and research daily also. I even still sit down with my training manual once a week to keep everything fresh in my mind lol xxx

hi kate!

I was a physio for 6 years beforev becoming a hairdresser so nice to hear of someone else in the same boat!!
I just went straight in and charged after training to do extensions, but practised lots on training heads and my sister lol as the post above says i also still regularly research and refresh my knowledge to try and stop me starting to get bad habits!
hope all goes well :)
