My fiancee is building out a new salon and I've been helping with the build out process. Unfortunately we've hit a bit of a roadblock in choosing a washer and dryer as I know very little about them (and turns out she knows even less). She is looking for a washer and dryer that are stackable, and obviously something fairly heavy duty. There are 7 stations in the salon so they will be going through a fair amount of towels. Also, the exhaust is a fairly long line, so want to make sure whichever we choose has a fairly powerful air output. Does anyone have any advice on what they've found successful in their salon?

Thanks in advance for any help or insight you might be able to offer!

I’ve added USA to your thread title because laundry items are built to comply with tighter ecological controls in the EU. (Reduced water and power consumption are high priorities.) Therefore, machines that are recommended over here may not be available to purchase in the States so it might be better to ensure that any replies focus on your location.

I remember years ago that top loaders were very popular over there but you mainly get front loading machines here in Europe.

Oh wonderful, thank you, I did not know that. As the units need to be stacked on each other they'll have to be a front loader (probably should have put that in the post). Appreciate your help!
