Hello there, I've finished my NVQ level 3 last year. I'm renting a beauty room at the moment. I have a query about waxing. I'm using Hive hot film wax for brazilian and hollywood at the moment. I would like to experience other hot waxes but I don't know which one. Is any painless hot wax for Brazilian? I red on internet that Perron Rigot wax or hot honey wax are the best. I'm going to the beauty show in excel next weekend but i would like to know which wax to buy when I go there. Please help

Brazilian waxing cannot really be painless. Why? Because having terminal hair pulled out at the roots hurts! However, with a good quality wax AND a good technique you can certainly minimise the pain. Top quality waxes such as Berins and PR, that require oil to be used under them, leave the skin intact as the oil creates a lipid barrier between the wax and the skin. Does the Hive wax require oil?

The level of pain is down to technique and no Brazilian wax is totally pain free.

Perron Rigot, Euroblonde is the wax that I'd put my money on every time. xx
