Has anyone tried or is using quick books for doing accounts. I've decided I'm going to try and do my own books this year as my account has put his prices up too much. I've never done it before but do keep very good books and update them daily so am thinking or hoping I will be ok. Any advice would help. Thanks all x

I looked at QuickBooks but I found it a bit pricey and lacking for my needs. I use Kashflow and I'm really happy with it - http://kf.cm/YQJHaw

I use Versum as a booking/client database/purchase history data manager. It has very detailed statistics, commisions, etc. for every employee and the business itself. Comes in very handy when doing taxes.

I was contemplating giving Quickbooks a go. I used to use Freshbooks which was great.

These days I use Wave Apps for my own accounts and Shedul for my clients booking software.

They're just as good, if not better then most of the paid software out there, and they're free! So it's a win-win for me.
