As good as MAC foundation

Hello

Hoping someone can help me. I use and love MAC foundation. Love the coverage as I have freckles I don't like, love how flawless and perfect my skin looks.

But what I don't love is when I run out. There is no MAC counter near me. I'm not very organised so there's always a period where I'm a bit stuck for foundation and waiting for some.

I'd really like a foundation I can buy on the high street. Went to the clinique counter today and didn't like their foundation as much.

Any foundation you love and think it's on a par wiv mac?

Will go to the counters n give em a go. I work in town so it'll jus b easier than ordering online as I never do it in time.

Revlon colourstay is meant to be a very good dupe for mac studio fix.

Another vote for EL Double Wear. The coverage is amazing and you only need a tiny amount.

I have double wear and double wear light, i find light better especially for summer or daytime when you want lighter coverage! both fab tho!

I just discovered Estee Lauder's Double Wear (thanks to some FABBY geesks on this site) and I just gotta say, WOW! It's amazing. I purchased the DW Light and I love it. This is the first foundation that stays in place and the coverage is perfect.

I have psoriasis which is really bad on my face and have used many foundations to find the best coverage, I used to use Estee Lauder Double Wear and agree the coveage is fantastic but found it clogged up my skin, I am now using the Jessica Mii Mineral Foundation which is amazing, it covers my psoriasis without looking too heavy and I dont look like im wearing really heavy foundation

i used to use mac studio sculpt but hace just brought lancome ultra teinte (or something along those lines). it's oil free and find the coverage is buildable

Estee Lauder double wear or revlon colourstay are both brilliant and stay on really well and cover everything they are both full coverage x

Sorry just wanted to add after rereading my reply I wasnt being negative about double wear, I have been through nearly every foundation going to find a great coverage for my skin and I have to say the double wear even left my skin looking flawless, people could not believe I had bad psoriasis underneath, the problem for me was needing to wear a couple of layers and was just too thick for my problem skin!

Another vote for Estee Lauder!! I have tried weening myself off it and the only other foundations that come close is MAC but i'm the same as you there are no Mac counters nearby. You can now order Mac from Debenhams but I like to go instore.

Which mac foundation were you using? I've tried double wear and it is good, but isn't covering my freckles, maybe I need to use more but am a bit foundation shy so maybe that's why!

Got a tester for double wear on Thursday and it's only £27.50 which I thought was really good!

I havent actually used Mac, I had it tested on my skin but it effected my psoriasis, the double wear did have amazing coverage, i applied with a cosmetic sponge then let dry whilst doing my eye makeup then applied another coat where necessary and my skin did look flawless x
