As good as MAC foundation

I havent actually used Mac, I had it tested on my skin but it effected my psoriasis, the double wear did have amazing coverage, i applied with a cosmetic sponge then let dry whilst doing my eye makeup then applied another coat where necessary and my skin did look flawless x

I have psoriasis too, but not so bad on my face only a tiny patch, but on my body all over!!! Sooo itchy! Am fed up with it now! :-(

Ah bless you, I dont have it too bad on my body but worse on my face, thats why I moved over to mineral makeup, really didnt think it would have the coverage for me at all and everytime I went looking for new foundations was told mineral probably wouldnt have but this one does and it lets my skin breathe so its slowly getting better now

MAC can be bought on-line and they are always having free shipping if you spend xxx.

Otherwise I would recommend Diorskin Forerver. Great coverage and will not budge. X

Hey thanks for all the help ladies. Day 1 of EL double wear and it's fab!!! Make up still looking pretty much the same as this morning. Wasn't expecting to find a foundation I like just as much as MAC, possibly more...

liverpool girl - I was using studio fix fluid then a powder on top

fake.it - I'd stick with the double wear. Once you've put your foundation on maybe put another layer or two just over the freckles to hide them a bit more. Then finish off with a powder to get a bit more coverage, not sure if your skin will be too dry for powder. If that's not enough coverage then use a concealer too. Good luck

Going to go and get a tester for double wear today due to all the good reviews here. I usually use Bare Minerals and find it really good but would like a change.

Can u advise what is the best powder to use over it??

I'm new to Double Wear but I did buy the Double Wear powder. It works well. My only 'gripe' is the cost for how much you get. But, the powder is nice. HTH!

I also LOVE MAC stuff especially there foundation..... I dont have a MAC counter near me - nearest is Bournemouth

I now use Clinique stuff & benefit its all made by the same company, I find there foundation very good
