Something with a /11 or /81! I like using /81 to get the grey white blonde

It depends what warmth you're trying to neutralise... if you have yellowy tones you will need a violet toner, if you have orangey tones you will need a blue toner, if you have red tones, you will need a green toner...

If you use the wrong toner, it either wont work atall or you will get an undesirable colour as a result, e.g if you have yellowy tones and use a blue toner...what do yellow and blue make? GREEN!

I normally use a quasi to tone, and without a depth if possible, just puretone

Thanks for the advice would u recommend 8/81 colour touch? Don't want it silver as much as I'd like it ash just not yet yellow

It won't be silver, by using 8/81 ur making it darker they do have just tones available

In colour touch? /81? I'll have a look at Sally's 2mrw would u use it with 6% or 4%

Clynol do a colour called graphite booster.. Very ash! U will need to watch it in fact.. Mixed with 3% on wet hair itl neutralise yellow tones from the brassiest of colours!

The /18 relights in wella is brilliant for this. No depth just tone. you mix it with 1.9%

loreal iced milkshake or pearl milkshake in diacolour works great, i sometimes mix them too x
