I would price everything individually.Im just wondering how you guys do your pricings.. how much do you charge per sitting? Do you price it up as you go i.e balayage + toner + second bleach application? Or is it one bulk sum?
I honestly think 1 - it depends on where your salon is as in town centres they seem to be able to charge a lot more for services and also I charge all services separate and normally say balayage starts from £65 so goes up from there depending on length and thickness of the hair, time it will take, toners and how much product I will be using ect, have a look at prices in other salons near by and see what they are chargingIm just wondering how you guys do your pricings.. how much do you charge per sitting? I think thinking like this will keep that mentality going and then nothing will change. If you're good at your job people will pay that bit more no matter where you are.I honestly think 1 - it depends on where your salon is as in town centres they seem to be able to charge a lot more for services and also I charge all services separate and normally say balayage starts from £65 so goes up from there depending on length and thickness of the hair, time it will take, toners and how much product I will be using ect, have a look at prices in other salons near by and see what they are charging
We have put our prices up as you have to when prices of stock ect change, however I also think about my clients I want to give them the best in everything including affordable reasonable prices, loyalty means a lot to me.I think thinking like this will keep that mentality going and then nothing will change. Obviously you may loose some clients if you suddenly double your prices, but charging a bit more shouldn't be an issue, prices of everything goes up all the time, it shouldn't be something we are afraid of. X
To the OP I like to keep prices simple, so I include toner in the price of highlights/balyage so they are already paying for it. And if they don't need a toner, it's the same price.
Keeps it simple, there is nothing worse then when a client doesn't want to pay for a toner and then their hair isn't perfect.
