Beauty from home

Hi ladies I'm new to this thread so bare with. I wanted to see and get some feedback from anyone who is doing their beauty business from home? Do you think clients mind coming to your house for beauty treatments. I currently work one day from home in my small box room but MOST Wednesdays I am booked but the room is to small. I am thinking of moving into my medium size bedroom and do it up all nice and hoping to drop a few days at the salon. I'm just so nervous about it. Thanks everyone xx

Hi Carly, I don't think people mind going to home salons at all as long as it is clean, away from excessive noise from children, partners & pets and most importantly, private. I'm sure you have set the room up beautifully and it sounds like you are busy on the days that you do it. I was very lucky in my last home salon because it was a downstairs study, literally just inside the front door, so I didn't impact on my family too much, but before that I was working from the box room at my parents house and on Saturday mornings I would just shut the dog in the kitchen & tell my sister not to walk around in her pj's while I had clients coming up the stairs! It worked absolutely fine and I'm still doing so many of those clients now, in my own salon 13 years later. Good luck. x
