You need to look for somewhere that will give you the certificates from vtct/city and guilds/itec/btec/cidesco because this will mean that you're getting an actual qualification that will be widely recognised (rather than a certificate of attendance).
Look for somewhere that is competitively priced and makes you feel that they're willing to give you the time of day, both in terms of how they handle any communication with you as well as how the course is timetabled/structured. Check there are no hidden costs such as silly separate charges for assessments, assessment books, or a particular brand of kit they insist you buy from them.
