Hi geeks, I'm not an extentionist, but is there any chance that I can get some advice on my own extensions? I have had them in since mid feb. My own hair has grown quite quickly. I'd say I now have around 21/2-3 inches of regrowth. I've had no problems or any falling out until this month. I've lost around 8-10 and a few even have my own hair attached. They are also shredding loads now. And getter really tangled at the bonds now. Is it time to have them removed? They are glue pre bonded.

Oh wow! I never realised, she told me that they normally last upto 6 months but with good products and care upto a year. Being a hairdresser myself I've been able to care for them pretty well and they are still in descent condition. I'm surprised she never told me about coming in for maintenance checks etc which is a shame because I definately would have. That's a very good point about natural amount of hair lose. I didn't think if that. I love having my extension, they have been amazing until now. Would you suggest that I need a break before having them reapplied or I can have then all refitted straight away? X
If your a hairdresser yourself you will know what re growth is like at 6 months??
She probably meant the hair itself will be good for 6 months to a year.
You can have them refitted straight away.
