I've got curly, frizzy shoulder length hair and I had the BEOX brazillian chocolate treatment done about 6 weeks ago. Initially it was very straight and no frizz and in the last 3 weeks the straightness has gone and it has gone back wavy again (which I was aware of as it's a de-frizzing treatment rather than a straightening treatment). However in the last few weeks the frizz is returning, it's still not quite as bushy as it was before but it doesn't look sleek and shiny and I got caught in the rain the other day and it went frizzy (again not as bad as before though).

I have to wash my hair every day as it gets greasy easily but have been using Nexxus Phyto Organics Sulphate Free shampoo and conditioner (as recommended by my salon). Can anyone recommend and other shampoo and conditioner to use as even when I've washed my hair with this it doesn't feel nicely conditioned?

Also, am I able to use products in my hair such as serum / dry shampoo / hairspray? I did ask the salon and they said yes but I'm wondering whether these might have affected the power of it.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I had BEOX and mine did the same. Great at first, then rubbish.

I've been told that the TIGI in the pink bottle is fine for use on Brazilian Blow Dried hair but let's see what the pro's say on this thread as they know best. xx

sorry only just seen this thread! I include Nexus Insure and Assure with my Beox. Its interesting to hear it hasn't lasted long as I've had a freind who reckons hers only lasted about 8 wks, and she has thick hair that she only washes 3 times per week. Do you mind telling me how much you paid for your treatment? If you have it done again you'll find it will last a little longer as it takes better with each application. I do find on a whole 3 months seems to be the lifespan unfortunately, but I do still think compared to others I've offered to my clients this has by far the best result.

Forgot to add that the Tigi in the bright pink bottle is Sulphate Free not Sodium Chloride and is no way suitable for use after any Brazilian. I know cos I bought it in the early days, and it is still sitting on a shelf.:)

You need to learn when Keratin will and will not work well. I never perform a bad Beox or Stefan's keratin treatment. Keratin does not work well on virgin hair as it fills in the damage & smooths out your hair, reducing the frizz almost entirely. I have never performed an inadequate treatment because I educate my clientele and know what I am doing. It is important to take your time & not take shortcuts. If it did not last I would go back to my stylist and show them.
