So I'm currently using/working with shellac. But it's does start chipping after 2 weeks or less sometimes! know it's half gel half normal polish which is why, I like working with it but I haven't got my full trust in the product and that my clients wont come back without any chips. Any surggesions ladies? X

Shellac polish is a 14+ day system so should only be promoted as such. If a client gets longer remind them how well they are doing!

Do you have many clients that chip under two weeks? It may be due to their lack of home care or life style/job.

Try the new duraforce top coat on these clients, I'm finding it helps.

Not many clients that chip and the ones that do is usually due to their own fault because of bad home care or they pick the gel off so the nail is already damaged in the first place cause they don't listen. Don't really have a issue as such with shellac but want a more hard wearing gel polish. Any thoughts of ink London or gelish?

Ink London is also a hybrid so wear time should be the same as shellac. Same issues with chipping too probably.
I just got a tester to try and I applied it yesterday so I can't tell for sure to be honest

Gelish is a pure gel which will last longer and eliminate any chipping problems on weak nails. However bear in mind that you do buff the nail before each application.

I'd still try duraforce tbh. We don't have it here yet and I haven't tried it but reviews seem really good and since you already use shellac I'd stick with that instead of investing in a whole new system

Thank you! Very helpful!! X

Definitely try duraforce, but have you thought of using IBX repair system?.

If they pick or peel it off it'll damage the nail & the shellac won't last as long. You'll be stuck in a circle of damage/reduced wear time.

Louella Belle sell IBX.

If you're having issues, changing brand may well not solve the problems. Have you contacted your EA to troubleshoot? Or as suggested have you tried DuraForce?
