Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask what the best nail glue is. Just got a essentials kit off a mate but the glue is all dried up so just wondered what make i should be buying??

Also another question how do you get the tips off the nails trainer hand??

Thanks geeks,

shelley xx:D

Are you looking for nail glue for your nail trainer or for tipping onto actual fingers, hun? 'Cos they're 2 different things.

For the nail trainer, didn't realise there's a difference. Sorry really new don't know what i'm doing yet.

Are they??? I didn't know that! I've always used the same one, Gelbond!

Don't worry hun, we all start somewhere....this is what we're here for, to help one another!

The glue needed for tipping a nail trainer dries much faster than real glue. If you used real glue, it would take much longer as the nail trainer gives off no body heat, whereas a real person does. This speeds up the glues drying time.

You best contact Essential Nails and try and register for buying new products with them. Have you trained elsewhere or are you training now on your nail trainer? Essential may well be able to register you for a small fee and then you would get your certificate out of it for insurance.

Sprinkles...I understand Gelbond works OK, but a bit slower still, but haven't actually tried it myself.

me too - even for my courses! - hehe!!

Hi when I did my training we was told to use the gelbond on our trainer the same as a client. I love gelbond as it is non runny and really easy to use.

thanks Lyndsay, may have to investigate this further! :D

Thanks for the advice. No haven't done any training as yet. Going to do creative l & p soon. Bought essential course off a mate who hadn't used it but she'd had it for 2 years, hence the glue being dried up.

Just bought it to play around a bit on nail trainer. See if i can do it before doing CND course. So i'm not wasting my money on CND course.

Haven't really thought of actually doing the whole essentials course, just wanted something to have a practice with really. Like you said i'll have to ring essential. Though it might be better to use creative as i'll be doing there course and also my mum's buying a salon which uses all creative products.

Thanks for the advice chick xx

you pull the rubber finger ends off & the tips pop out, also you might know this but when you click your nail in you can click them in up to 3 times & each time you click it represents a deeper nail bed
hth xxxx

Right i'm with you now.

You just pull the nail off that your click in and throw it away. God i'm really thick sometimes...

Shelley can you also tell me what type of nail tips i need to buy for the trainer. As they aren't t many.

Thanks hun you've been a great help

 Hello there!

Have just found this website! Its so useful!!

Anyways on the subject of Gels. Which is the best product to use?? I got trained in gels by my ex employer a few years ago. And she taught me using NSI and have used it ever since. But i would like to try something else and actually go to a proper training college! ive heard creative is good and so is biosculpture. What does everyone else think??

Ta! Gaby

You can use any nail tips - i would suggest getting some cheeper ones when you are practicing - have a look on ebay you can get 500 for about £6-£8 from some sellers

Don't throw them away - i keep mine in a little bag & you can look back at your progress or put nailart on them etc.

Have a look on www.essentialnails.com or www.ginawallace .com & i'm sure you can download the nail trainer manual.

xxxxxxxx

Hi Gaby,

Welcome to the site, newbie myself and don't have any experience at all but the general direction on here is that Creative are the best training wise.

You are right though this site is fantastic, everyone always willing to help, the info is great.

As for products, can't answer that one sorry chick.

Thanks Shelley,

I've got all the manuals and video etc in the essentials course. But just wanted to have everything before i had a go.

Had a look on ebay but got a bit confused as they are different types of tips, like white, clear, curved etc. Didn't know which one's!!!

I hope i get better at this, feel totally thick that i don't know anythig!!

Thanks again, luv Shelley x

So how do i post a new thread??
I am a nail tech know how to do them just want to change what i use! as Im fed up with NSI. I think there good but not the best!hehe. Does anyone have an idea as to how much a training course at Creative is?

xx

To post a new thread go into forum, give's you instructions in there.

Creative l & p is £700 nearly, don't know about gel might be same price, not sure.

It's cheaper if you already have a nail trainer and don't want the creative uniform.

if you have held a recognised certificate for over a year you can do a conversion course which is basically the price of the kit xx
