Hi all, I’m currently using SkinTruth pedicure products and I’m just not happy with them. I’ve previously used CND and loved them but it was about 10 years ago and they don’t seem to do those products anymore. I’ve also used Jessica which I was a bit meh about. So my question is, which products do you like best? I want results! I want my clients to walk out feeling like they’re walking on clouds! Is Footlogix worth the money? What about Kaeso? Any good?

I personally love opi I know it's expensive layout but so worth it! Smells lovely great results!

Have you tried the new CND Spa series. I hear really great things and seem to be really easy and nice setup. Maybe see if the do trial kits so you can test them out?

I tried the newer cnd spa range for a while but disappointed really.
Product quality is good but it didn't wow the clients. No compliments at all.
Now I use the kaeso range and get lots of oo's and ah's!
They love the scents and feelings on their skin.

I use kaeso at work and the clients love it! The lime and ginger scrub is amazing and the blueberry foot mask is super moisturising

I use Kaeso too, the products smell lush and my clients feet always feel lovely after a pedi. They don’t cost the earth to buy either!

Wow just checked out this kaeso range price is phenomenal compared to opi, going to buy a kit to try thanks all you've just saved me a small fortune I'm due a stock replenish

During my first days as a nail technician, I did pedicures using skin truth and believe me, it's not about the branding, it's mostly on technique. I made my first client feel "walking on clouds" as she described it doing a basic pedicure with some extra exfoliation procedure with a short gentle massage and drainage. During more pedicures, I was not too happy with the smells as I feel they are suited more for an elderly client base, so I now use All That Jazz.

Another vote for Kaeso here. I started out with the old style CND range (loved it but pricey) & then moved onto the new Spa line but wasnt over impressed. Its expensive for what it is & the scents are either very floral (gardenia) or quite clinical (citrus- theres nothing citrus about it lol)

The Kaeso products smell amazing & the results are fab. The retail range is better priced than CND too so easier to sell imo. Xx

Hey can I ask which foot file you all use I'm on my last opi file which they've discontinued I do not use a shaver as we was trained not to so need a good disefectable file.

I love the CND Microplane. Lots of Geeks recommend it

The callus peel pack I bought has one with disposable single use file pads. They are really good and you just throw the pad away after the client but keep the handle. You can buy them separately x

Footlogix full steel one (not the rubber handle)

I’ve been doing pedicures 16 years, it’s not my technique, the products feel like water.

Regular liquid hand washing soap is a must have in a pedicure service.

Instead of the anti-bac foot soak? Why?

I personally love footlogix.

It's definitely more of a clinical range, rather than a nice purely relaxing one though. It doesn't smell like the normal pedi ranges and the scrub is algae green!

I get great results.

I also use callus peel, which I find good.

I used Keaso in college so that's what I have bought and been using while I'm gaining my clients up, although I am really happy with it. All my clients have commented on how lovely the smell is from each product, how soft their feet feel (and hands as I use the manicure products too) and have always had really nice compliments after the treatment. I was debating on changing range once I was more 'established' but to be honest I've had such nice feedback I think I will just stick to Keaso for now

Forget the anti bac foot soak because it doesn't work. Regular liquid soap is the main player because it washes away the germs accumulated on the foot. It also feels extremely good to have someone gently rub your foot with soap. No nail tech I know of does this. I suggest you try it. Clients love it.

So the thing with germs is this: they can't be killed, but they can removed. We remove them by coating their body with soap(it makes the body slippery) and then they are washed away with water. Anti bac foot soak creates a good smell but there is not mechanical action to pry the germs off the toes. The most important part to clean is underneath the free edge as this is where all the dead skin cells accumulate and causes odors.

Sea salt scrubs and mask are add ons and are not important.
