this is my first post here :) im training to be a hairdresser at the mo..im looking for a good shampoo for greasy hair i have been using shampoos for damaged hair as my hair is very damaged but im finding its starting to weigh my hair down and feels greasy the next day im using matrix biolage fortetherapie and wella sp colour care shampoos at the mo..and i use matrix so silver once a week but really need somethin that wont weigh it down :(

The trick is not to over stimulate the sebaceous glands by rubbing and massaging to hard.
I get greasy roots and I do fing those shampoos are a bit heavy, even though i do love matrix!
I use dermalogica shime therapy shampoo, its lovely!! its a very 'herbal clean ' shampoo and removes all the build up..its lovely!

sorry i meant shine therapy, not shime my typing is aweful! x

Hi there.

You could use a deep clense shampoo once a week to remove residues ect from your hair. But remember to condition your damaged hair afterwards.

There are several deep clense shampoos available from Merlin Professional.

Inception Primer to be used once a week.
Sapphire Protein for greasy, limp/chemically altered hair.

You can see all their shampoos ect on their website:

Merlin Professional Hair Care

I use merlin products and they are ace.

You could also buy cheaper ones from a wholsalers if you want.

:):)

i use a clarifying shampoo once a week and a light weight conditioner, and a spray leave in. i find the creams and oils are too thick.

i swear by the Kenra clarifying shampoo and i use their spray leave in as well, now i days out of a wash, not just hrs.
