Hi, I currently use CND Shellac polish and I'm in need of a lamp to enable me to work in dark lighting. I've read a few threads regarding day lamps but they are LED and I'm worried that it will cure the polish. Has anyone used a led daylamp with shellac or got any suggestions for the ideal mobile friendly lamp.

TIA X

I am not that experienced but I use this one. It gives out good light but if your using on an uneven surface (I am using on my couch bed so a bit cushioned?) it doesn't have the best balance but other than that works well for me

An LED lamp is just LED "bulbs". (Light emitting diode) Which is totally different to your UV light in your nail lamp, which will be LED but it still UV! It's like trying to get a tan using a normal light bulb instead of a UV one, they are both still bulbs but use different frequency etc. Hope this makes sense!

Thank you for your replies you were both very helpful.
