I worked absolutely the same as Amber above for years until a while ago when I updated my training and am again using exec base and vit dose but different than i did before and they are all working well so far.

Same as Theresa, I do all the same as Amber, including soak off and replace most sets, but again, I do use Vitamin Dose and Executive base....purely because I've found even further improvement in the condition of the nail if I do, and absolutely no lifting. I did stop using it for a while, but went back to it on myself and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I wouldn't cringe at soaking off and replacing each set....thats Bio's recommendation now too, and like you say its a darn site quicker. And the product remover is on the nail for such a short time...

I use Biosculpture a lot and never heard of exec base or the vitamin thing - may be I just know them and they are called s/t different here. Can somoene please explain these products?
thanks

They are still under the same names on the Bio Sculpture international website.

Bio Sculpture® International |The Healthier Alternative in Nail Care

I'd ask your trainer/distributor about them...a quick flick around the distributor for Israel website also shows them on there, but I unfortunately couldn't understand the wording that goes with them.

Yeah thats what I found too Karen,

.....and totally off subject, but yuck to the nails with the Vitamin Dose. How flat and square do they look? (Ok could be the picture quality, but it just strikes me that they aren't like the beautiful natural look we are used to from Bio!)

I agree with you there Lyndsay ... they couldn't have found a more unflattering photo if they tried!

It's not necessarily your prep but something isn't right here as Bio Sculpture just doesn't lift. Bio Sculpture isn't just 'as good' as others, its a heck of a site better than most, and is probably the least lift prone product I've ever used.

In a lot of cases I eould suggest that it is something the gel is coming into contact with whilst you are wearing it, but if you are sure its not then some pointers to check are:

Are you using the Bio lamp, have you checked your bulbs, and are you using Bio prep products? And are you curing (fully?)after two nails or trying to do 4 or 5? Bio doesn't have much shrinkage but if your nails are short it could pull back enough from the FE to lift slightly.

99% of my clients go 3 weeks at least...the only one I have a problem with is a lady that works in Shiatsu massage andshe files her nails down regularly, and then despite 'resealing; the ends flick up after a couple fo weeks, but even then she doesn't lose the nail.

And come and chat about ti in the Bio Sculpture social group...we have threads to help newbies with problems all the time and usually get there!
Do you know if it has HEMA in it?

Just so you know this thread is some 8 years old now, and the poster you've quoted has been absent from Salon Geek since last year.
