Has anyone that uses bio sculpture had any success creating chrome nails? Seen lots of posts with regards to shellac, gelish etc but not bio! I know it's not and easy skill to master so wonder if someone could give me the heads up about chrome with bio sculpture? Does it work and if so what was your method?!

Thanks x

Lol where are all the bio sculpture techs?!!

Surely someone has tried this?
Thanks x

Hi, I'm a bio tech and did contact bio to ask this question...this is there response...it is possible to create a chrome effect using Bio Sculpture.

We do not sell a chrome effect gel but the chrome glitters you can purchase can be used over a Bio Sculpture Overlay. I haven't tried it yet thou. Let me know if you try it [emoji3]

Thanks so much! I am very tempted to try as it can look amazing and so effective! X

No worries, let me know how u get on. Have you tried bios Evo yet?

I have used it with BrillBirds chrome powder, it works just like other regular gel polishes, but the top coat does need to be non cleanse X

Hi there!

I follow a lady called natashamartinbeauty on Instagram - she uses bio and she managed to do it, sometimes she puts the products in her tags, i will add a pic but she has an actual video on there of her doing with the chrome - may be worth a check :) x

Thanks very much Jambo! Have checked out her insta and looks good!
I wonder if you have to burnish the chrome powder onto gel straight after curing or should you wipe first then add the chrome? And then use the normal bio gel top coat straight over the top?!

Nikki21 - not tried Evo yet, I am very tempted especially now they have brought out the mood colours but I'm still using the old school UV lamp. Once I make the switch to LED I reckon I'll get some though! Just got to justify buying it....[emoji16]!

I know, I've got the tiny 5ml starter pack so far which was cheap just to see if I liked and wanted to take it on...I'm very impressed so far and they have been on me 3 weeks tomorrow which I think is good [emoji2] need to now be buying some more colours. I know what you mean it's buying it all outright and the new normal bio colours are out in a few weeks too and they are lovely [emoji140]

Ah did you get the Evo promo pack? What colour do you have on? Would love to see a picture! 3 weeks is very good, I am so tempted. I assume you have the bio LED lamp which you are using to cure the Evo? Yes I know there is always so much to buy!

In the pack you get top coat, base and 2 colours (Chelsea & Jacqueline)
