Hi there

I don't know if this is any use, but I use NSI Glaze n Go on all of my L&P and Gel clients. It gives a really high gloss shine without you having to cleanse off a sticky layer. It also helps to prevent lifting and yellowing. It is my absolute favourite product in the orld. It is basically just a UV sealent, but my clients LOVE it!!

Hope this helps guys.

its a good product, but not ideal for topping soak off gels.

soak offs are more flexible than regular ones and as they flex, they crack the top gloss. i see this has been the experience for other posters too. also, it would need to be filed off first as it wouldnt soak away.

it works well over regular gels and l/p though.

Does this nsi glaze and go have to be cured?

Hi Chris...I second (third or whatever) that Scrubfresh is your prob with Bio. Shame really as I lurve Scrubfresh but it does break Bio down due to the Acetone in it and you lose the shine!

Funnily enough i've just posted in the Bio group about wiping off the sticky layer with Bio. Sanitiser for everything but S-gel and technically Bio (acetone free) Polish remover, then sanitiser for S-gel, but I was told by a little birdie (and one that knows!) that if you use plenty of sanitiser on S-gel, ie a wet as opposed to damp wipe, that then is fine for S-gel too...tried it, it does work. I guess it doesn't save you anything in product, but saves you messing about with 2 wipes.

But I guess Dual Cleanse wil solve all that! Glad to hear you're liking it Theresa! I may just have to place an order!

Yes it does need to be cured. I cure it for 3 mins and then just apply cuticle oil.

Ooh, can't help you there. I've never used Biosculpture. With NSI you just have to use a standard UV lamp.

Finished with Sealer and wiped the sticky layer off with non-acetone polish remover and the finish is now lovely and shiney.

Thanks my geeky friends xxx:hug:

I have once tried glaze n go over bio whilst up at NSI - it didnt work for me at any rate - the two fingers with the glaze n go on cracked and the two products seperated from each other after a few days - the geeks who said that the flexibility of bio works against the glaze n go have hit the nail on the head I feel. !

I have to say though that the sealer/clear/'s' gel finish over a colour is fab and shiny on its own.

I was also thinking of using it over my acrylic nails, but ive only got a Bio lamp to cure it with, but not sure if it will work.

bio told me that you need a 2 bulb 9 watt lamp to cure bio.
i believe glaze and go cures in a 9 wat lamp so the bio lamp should be fine.
maybe just mail nsi to check or it might give details on their website.

ok thanks, could someone pm the price of the top glaze please.

If your base layer is really smooth, you shouldn't need to buff the colour layers. After the clear base layer, try Bio's gold block ( I cut mine in halves) to buff if you have too.. then use the Bio Sanitizer, follow with your 2 coats of colour... Finishing layer...use "S" gel 4minutes, then wipe with Bio polish remover. Shine will stay. If not, perhaps something is up with your bulbs. (I had that happen).

Hope things work out for you. Since they made the "S" gel and that "Free Edge" gel I've had no need or desire to play with other lines. Just wish it wasn't so darn expensive and that I could soak it off quicker & more effectively....Getting there...
