Hi There -
If someone who has been having a bleach tint wants to switch to high lift as they no longer want to be as blonde how how would you do this, she will needs an ash as she pulls quite a lot of warm, Igora 12.1 maybe (any suggestions welcome), what would you suggest to tone the ends to blend with the high-lift colour on roots. I know I need to be really careful with application so I don’t get a grey halo from overlapping the previous bleach when doing regrowth.
Regrowth is a 5, she will lift to a level 8, 0% white, mid lengths are super porous but level 10.

thank you so much!

I would spare myself the headache and bleach and tone anyway. Just change your toner to achieve what you want. Otherwise you will have to lift the roots with your chosen colour, process, rinse then tne accordingly. It's pointless trying the. Second guess your toner yet, because using a Highlift tint on a base 5 will give you unpredictable lift.

Ok thank you, I do agree. I’d much rather keep on with bleach.
My concern now is achieving an even result as her ends tend to really grab.
Do you have any favourite goldwell formulas to tone it all to an 8 with some depth? Thanks again!
