I'd wait till she has roots again tell her no more bumping the base (unless you can find a foolproof way, if u do please tell me about it lol) do a full head of fine weaves (so a bazillion foils) then the hair that's left out Inbetween the foils spatch the colour she likes (whatever that dark tone is on the pic) if you spatch every single left out hair it will appear equally as dark as light, if you do every other (so miss one left out section Inbetween) it will be more subtle (I think this is the best option for this client) and if you wanted a more subtle look again do every 3rd left out weave
Great thank you :) i will give it a go. She sed shes had an 8 so should i spatch an 8? If so im thinking an 8.13 possible so its putting back in some warmth and also an ash for a more cool look

Do a 7.31 you need more gold than ash or it will look grey & if you use 7 over a blonde it will look like an 8, however if you think Sheel think its too dark go with the 8 and it'll look like a 9 :)

Im getting there slowly! Lol. Theres so much knowledge. That could have possibly been the reason why the toner left grey streaks as i used an 8.1 along with the porosity!
