Hi,
Newbie shellac tech here,
I was just wondering what the main things are to ask when taking a booking over the phone. Esp for mobile treatments.

Just so the client doesn't arrive or you arrive at thiers and you've got to reject treatment.
e.g with regards to clients with Diabetes, ongoing health issues, or any contra-indications etc.

An example If you had a client who Is having a small op for skin cancer. Do I need a letter from their consultant for them to have a basic Shellac treatment?

And polite & professional sensitive way to phrase questions when filling out consulation form, it's just so personal and I don't want to offend anyone.
Any help would be appreciated thanks. X

I dont phrase the questions from my form, clients are handed it on a clip board & left to get on with it while I set up/ make tea etc. Ive not gone through a form with someone since my college days! I just check it over when they hand it back & go from there.

Carl at Verve designed my form- it covers all the basic questions & is rebranded to your logo/colour scheme. Its not very expensive at all & you can just print them out at home as & when you need them. If sone questions seem invasive i just blame my insurance company lol.

As for questions I always used to ask about parking, most would say pull up onto the drive but I had a few where parking was a nightmare! Ooh and ask if theres a table/somewhere you can sit to perform the treatment. Xx

Thank you for your reply.
Gd idea, I think I will get a clip board too. I wouldn't have thought about that, saves time too while your setting up.

Thank you for tips on parking, that's always a worry. I'm at a salon for the next few weeks doing a pop up nail bar. Then going mobile so trying to pick up as many helpful tips as poss to run smoothly.

Anyone have any advice with regards to someone having skin cancer graft? Do I need a letter from consultant?
Thanks. X
